Dimensional Restoration
A wide variety of industries utilize thermal spray coatings to buildup worn and damaged areas on elemental machine and industrial components. Dimensional restoration coatings can also be applied to unused OEM parts to improve surface performance and ensure that the original part stays intact and performs more efficiently.
Figures 1 and 2 illustrate how pump components can be refurbished back to OEM specifications.
Figure 3 illustrates the restoration of dimension of a pump shaft. Figure 4 illustrates the use of a wear coating on a train framehead for extended lifetime.
