Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coatings
NTST has recently developed the unique capability to fabricate titanium nitride (TiN) coatings. TiN is extremely difficult to fabricate as a coating due to its tendency to sublime at high temperature.
Figure 1 illustrates a typical NTST TiN coating. Characterization is currently being conducted on this coating.
